Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 August 2026

This policy explains what Halie AI LLC ("halie", "we", "us") does with personal information when you visit halie.ai, when you hold a halie account, and when your own customers are contacted through it. It covers the halie website, the halie platform, and the phone, messaging and email services delivered inside it.

1. The two roles we play

This distinction matters, because different rules apply to each.

If you are a customer of a halie account holder and you want your information corrected or deleted, contact the business you dealt with. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass the request on.

2. What we collect

3. Why we use it, and our legal bases

4. Messaging and telephony data

Some of this we are required to state plainly, and all of it is worth stating plainly.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Halie and the providers used to operate the website and platform may use cookies or similar storage. Some are necessary for login, security, and service operation. Any optional analytics or preference controls available for a particular service are described where that service is used. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though some functionality may stop working.

6. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose it only in these cases.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information. The exact controls depend on the service and providers involved. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot promise absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that requires notice, we will notify affected people and regulators in line with applicable law.

To report a security issue, email hello@halie.ai with "security" in the subject line.

8. How long we keep it

You can ask for deletion sooner. We will do it unless we are legally required to keep something, and we will tell you if that is the case.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know what we hold, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to take it elsewhere in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, to opt out of sale, sharing or profiling, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them.

UK and EEA. Those rights come from the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents may request to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose to; request correction; request deletion; and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Colorado privacy rights

Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents may access, correct, delete and port their personal data, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling. If we decline a request you may appeal, as described below.

Connecticut privacy rights

Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Connecticut residents have the same set of rights, including access, correction, deletion, portability and opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling, together with a right of appeal.

Utah privacy rights

Under the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah residents may access, delete and port their personal data and opt out of targeted advertising and sale.

Virginia privacy rights

Under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Virginia residents may access, correct, delete and port their personal data, opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling, and appeal a refusal.

Other states

Residents of Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky and Rhode Island have comparable rights under their own laws as those laws come into force, and we honour them on the same basis.

Appeals. Where applicable law gives you an appeal right, reply to our decision or write to hello@halie.ai with "appeal" in the subject line. We will respond and provide any required regulator information within the applicable legal period.

To exercise any right, email hello@halie.ai. We respond within the period required by applicable law and may use a permitted extension for a complex request. We may need to verify your identity first. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located in other countries. Where cross-border transfer rules apply, we and the relevant providers use the safeguards required for the service and location involved. Contact us if you need information about a transfer that applies to your account.

11. Children

halie is a business product and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is material we will tell account holders directly before it takes effect.
